Incredible AlexThe parts that stand out to me the most are the gradiant silvers on the dent and back right side. I need to learn the methods used for it.

Yeah, way back when I thought the same thing...looks like someone just dropped, or let the helmet sit on some white paint.....I believe it was a mistake either way, cause it doesn't match anything... but it wasn't fixed, or just over looked like allot of things were.![]()

Unbelievable job Alex. Your attention to detail is beyond amazing!:thumbup
Hey Alex,
Would you be able to do a list of the colors you used on this paint job.
thx
Arnold

Hi there,
Sorry if this is sort of a dumb question, I'm sorta new here. With the topical method, are you painting the weathering on with a brush, or are you masking and spraying it on?
It looks incredible, by the way!
John
Welcome aboard JBH...
Not the thread for it but Topical = brushed details & Layered = masked and airbrushed
Hope that helps...![]()
Sorry, don't mean to bring up this old thread...was told that none of the pics worked... FIXED
and I never got a chance to post the great shots Art took of the Helmet during the photo shoot.
Enjoy..and sorry so late in posting.
ALL pictures are property of Art Andrews.

Well I gotta say holy cowpies again! That's just beautiful.
***!!! this is awesome! :thumbup
Dude, you're my god, now I really want to dress up like Boba Fett
I just have one question, has the lens any motor or something to give it movement? I mean, the little "antenna lens", becasue I could see a few photos were a guy added some Servo-Motors, but I don't know if you guys use to do that...

You can add an rc servo in the helmet to raise and lower the 'range finder stalk'.
I dont believe there is one in this helmet though.
I'm very late on this thread but, in fairness, I'm just a newbie. I have to echo what has been said. This is a work of art. From what I've read and seen from this project this is a reflection of what a great community of talented artists TDH really is. Hats off to all involved. Truly phenomenal.
