JB Project/ FPH Helmet

Didn't want to bog down the Jeremy Bulloch thread with progress pics.. http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=23257 ....so I thought it would be best to start a separate thread.

I'm in charge of the helmet for this project and will be painting this piece using a Topical method. :p
Trust me, it was a hard decision after many hours of going back and forth between layered and topical :wacko. Ultimately to get every scratch "perfect", topical was the way to go!(y)..It pains me to admit that.:facepalm

Although I won't be posting "how too's" on the work I will be doing, I will only be posting completed phases. This saves me allot of typing, and I also have other peices that need painting for this project.... have to move fast yet accurate...a mid March deadline will be here before you know it.;)

Anyway here is the first pic...

Wetsanded, prepped and primed FPH, with fitted aluminum ears. (Jeremy's getting all the good stuff.)

Enjoy.

I got some paint on it yesterday too(y)...had to redo it, cause I started layered(n), I will take some pics and send them to you tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress. I agree that topical is best way to get things "perfect".

Can't wait 'til the pics start rolling in!
