ilikebmxbikes first ESB helmet

hello
here are a few pics of my ESB helmet work in progress. my background in painting and modeling has been with miniatures (see pic below) but i am going to try to get into doing more 1:1 scale models.

I found out about this site about halfway through painting so far, so i didnt know about the templates for weathering available here, or the masking technique of painting. I plan on selling this one to get another mystery helmet and make a more accurate one. comments and criticism welcome. i will post more pics of the helmet and armor as the project progresses.

Nice bike. Its great to see another bmxer into star wars! I am the lotek shoes team filmer and i filmed and edited the last fit DVD, summer of fit. Ur fett costume looks good.

I know Enns from back in the day, as well as Osato, and Miron. I haven't seen the fit vid yet.

i will be doing a complete costume. I have a set of fiberglass armor i will be painting up once i get some of that masking glue.

Enns will be down here in san francisco some time over the summer filming for the next lotek dvd. He is dope.

Ahh yes, the Enchanted Ramp. I think I PM'd you (nicklambo) a while back on the RPF. I noticed Lee Reynolds has surfaced again in California riding a vert ramp again! Very cool to see!
