Here is my first EVER paint of ANYTHING.....hope you like it.

Hi folks,

I just want to say that I am a total newbie at this....I have never even seen an airbrush before I started this let alone know how one works.
I wanted to start making a Boba fett costume and the help from these forums has been amazing.....anyway given the info, I bought a cheap resin cast off ebay to see how I would get on as I have no artistic skills or patience...Both of which I guess are required....anyway, once I started I really enjoyed the process.
I know its not exactly screen accurate, I started using the stencils, but they really didnt fit the helmet very well and as its my first go I'm not going for an exact replica anyway, so I started going free hand.
Anyway....still a bit of work to do...But I'm delighted with the results so far....I was wondering what you all think.
This wouldnt have been even remotely possible without the help from here, so thanks.
Paul

I really like your work! At the moment I'm working on my own scratch build bucket.
So if I'm in need of some "newbie airbrush tricks" I'll definitely write you a PM. :D

Cheers

I found these videos the other night. Very helpful.

Thanks a lot Drobu, they seem to be very useful! But first I need to finish building. ;)
I just started today and I'll post some pics soon.
