FINALLY!

Diagnostics_Ports.jpg

I gotta be honest in saying that these aren't perfect. The two small holes are exactly the same size. One the real one, one appears larger... No prob though... Off to the machine shop these go!!!

You could, but you would have to find the correct diameter of whole piece, of the three holes, ect.... Plus, it's very groovy to have the real found piece in your bucket! ;)

Hmmm....mine have different sized smaller holes. Its not a major difference, but enough. The one pic looks like its got some glue or something that is making the hole larger than it is. Good luck....

In looking through the Parts of Star Wars page, I noticed that a part used on C-3PO looks similar to the part Secol found. It even has three different sized holes like the original part. This came from the clear V-8 model kit. It may be a bit big but maybe a 1/24th sized part might be the right size. Has anyone else noticed this or has this been discussed already? Here's the link to the site http://www.partsofsw.com/Main.htm, click on "character", "C-3PO" then scroll down to "components"

I have had the piece in question. It is WAY too big to be the diagnostics port in Fett's cheek. It is also relatively flat and while it has three holes, they don't line up to what we see on Fett. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am afraid they aren't the same.

No problem Braks'. I saw it and thought it looked close. Seeing that they used this model for a ton of other parts, it seemed possible. But they did use dental expanders so the part that Secol found is probably the way to go.
