Here are some additional Pics of GBH's MS1 with all the working Parts...
He was gracious enough to send it back to me for the up coming TDH Workshop...:thumbup
GBH modified the rangefinder, added a fan and Installed a MQ-1 Curcuit and headliner.
Also to be a little more movie accurate GBH added the EAR CAP " T " Decal.
WOMO68 added the working servo and LEDS and GBH made all the ness Mods to both....
And duh:p .............I painted it.
Again! Spidey great paint work on this helmet! It landed up being well worth the wait! Once I added some finishing touches here and there, I'm happy to say that this will be my FINAL? Boba Fett helmet. Also, thanks to womo68 for some much needed assistance on the electrical end of things!:thumbsup Hope this dome creates a strong buzz at this weekends convention!:thumbsup
That helmet looks incredible. Spidey or WOMO68, what kind of servo setup is the one on the helmet...is that the one from HYPERDYNE, or a custom-made one? How fast or slow the servo works either direction?
"Hyperdyne":thumbsup .....yes Sir!!
Womo68 or GBH can tell you about the speed.....but I think it's Not to fast and Not to slow.....right in the middle. If that makes sense.:p
The whole electrical kit comes courtesy of Hyperdyne!:thumbup
WOW! What did you use for the inside of the Rangefinder?!
The Helmet looks Really Great!!
I landed up cutting out the bottom part of the rangefinder and inserting a piece of translucent green plexiglass. The standard color L.E.D. that Hyperdyne attaches to the bottom side of his board is just plain white!:thumbsup
I have seent his bucket in person and it is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
spidey's paint job is truly amazing!!
eh...that spidey guy is ok...;)
Just don't go into his garage!!!!
:lol :lol ...Quote:
Yeah it looks like yours.....;)
now that is one sweet bucket!! :cheers
Can this even get any sweeter?
every time i think i don't want a servo for my rangefinder i see something like this, and start to change my mind again.
If memory serves me...it's a Hitech Low Profile servo like this one...
and the kit did indeed come from Hyperdyne.
It's been a while since I installed it...but I think it takes 2-3 seconds to get to the down position and the same to get it up. I had to do a little "adjusting" to get the RF piece installed and GBH finished it off.
It was fun and I almost have myself talked into putting one in my FP helmet!:thumbsup
