Looking good! your weathering is coming along great
Awesome start there bruv...![]()
Looking good!
Hey, that's looking great so far! Nice paintage.
Is that the new Sarge v.2 bucket? Or did you tweak his v.1?
I'm wondering as well, since I don't notice the bumps on the mandible or lower cheeks that were present on the V2. Were you also able to take care of those with careful sanding like I did?
Very good work! Weathering is looking beautiful. I'll be using this as reference when I paint my lid up in the coming weeks. Question: Is that with spray cans, or airbrush?
Sweet job on the weathering! Looks great!![]()
This is a sarge V2.. and yes i sanded the bumps of the lower mand. Yes it did take some work No its not that bad.. the bumps are big but if you take your time your fine.
Im going airbrush on the helmet. My Jet Pack will be a mixture of Cans and Air.
This is my first paint app.. and first time painting with model paint. I wouldnt use this as reference!.. hahaha.. but thanks for the compliments. I just wanted to make sure im on the right track.
if you want refrence look at AOSW2 pics.. and check out Spidey fetts JB project he's the MAN!!!... I do have a question how is everyone getting HAIR line painting? what techinic are you using?
Also any ideas on how to paint the ear decal?! (just wondering how your applying the masking tape) Im trying to do everything painted on.

For my very fine scratches, I actually scratch down to the base resin with a compass point.
For the "not quite very fine scratches," I use a #000 brush.
Heres an update where im at im done the color block in now for the details... Im almost done, been juggling the jet pack and armor also. (but its outta the way now!)

Thats a great paint job! Those colours look really good together as well...and all done in a couple of weeks...Are you going to dirty it up ?
yeah im in the middle of doing that now its only about 75% complete i have all the dirt and grim scratches. TF Thanks for the tip on the brush, i figured out the black pattern on the front. maybe next time ill try a layered helmet..
Heres my finished bucked i think... I i dont like how my rust came out..but if you pro have suggestions on the rust please PM ME!... This is my first bucket and pretty much first time experince painting so you can say ive learned alot. I would like to do a MS3 bucket or a FPH when i get the chance for a second helmet.

A+++
Up there with the best.
THAT...is UNREAL!!! Absolutely FAN-TASTIC!
great job!!!
Dude!!Rockin' bucket.
Very, very nice work.![]()
This awesome paint job makes me want to get back at my partly painted lid and get it done. Sigh. It's now just sitting on my shelf with about 3 or 4 basic colours on it, and only started the layering of the peeling paint with the silver. I was gonna do the layered paint job but decided against it until I get a better feel for how the colours all work. I expect I'll paint another one some time and I'll do layered for that.
This is a fantastic paint up. Not just "really nice" or "that looks good". This one "feels" like the real deal when I look at it.
Man, that makes me want to take my helmet and actually paint it now.![]()
That's the FIRST time you painted a helmet??? That is outstanding!! Excellent work!
Charlie
