Thanks for the kind words guys! I just make things that I like and hope others like them as well.

My wife thinks I should just make the "F" on the front to be a "A" for Asok's Props. I just can't cut into the mold for the sake of my name. I could sign and/or number them but, those sort of things just seem to always get covered up. I think Muad'Dib hit it on the head, how many other helmets say FP that are CC? Not many.

Yeah I think the CC resin is a good enough signature but i gues once youve worn the mold out and make a new one then you can worrie about changing the badge , one thing you could do is fill it with sill, that wouldnt damage the mold but it sorta takes away from it so i guess , and most people are going to cut it out any way so what ever,
all i know is the CC has grown on me and im looking forward to owning one oof these

I just left the machine shop. They are not going to be able to laser cut the RF stalks. Just it would be to thick. Looks like they will need to use a water jet! Just not looking forward to the price quote.

Re: FP Budget helmet in COLD CAST!

Thats how i do them and they look fine , you just need to cut the rod to the langth then dip each end in CCresin let it dry so there is a little ball on each end then place the rod in the mold and coz of the ball on each end the rod is centerd away from the walls of the mold then pour it really works well , give it a try ,
But one of the awsome things about your jango is the metal stalk it realy makes them stand out

Thanks for the ideas guys! Just a little about me, I do computer work and I am lazy/efficient. I would have a better RF stalk if they where out of something other the resin. What does this mean? Well, my machine shop just sent me a quote and I ordered 20 machined RF stalks that I will include in the kits!

I took some time today to work on my helmet a little. A few weeks ago I killed my palm sand and went out and bought something a little smaller that came with sanding pads in it. It also has one with steel wool on it. What you see took about 5 to 10 minutes. What do you think?

Yes I did a few in FG. They turned out okay and to me a lot of work. The other problem is it is just way to cold here in Indiana to make them.

If you were looking to ID them, I know Java over at the clone-empire boards puts some sort of IC ship in the earwell area of his clone helmets. When scanned there is a number that comes up on a reader. He writes that number inside with a sharpie. No one would be able to tell unless they had a scanner though.

    Nice looking helmet!!
