I think Fett 4 Real had done one in ROTJ. I think others have posted the same question in the Cargo Hold.
This is really cool
Awesome work! I just recently joined this site and have been wanting a Boba Helmet for a while! Great work and great price! I'll be sending you an e-mail soon!!!
does this come with the ear cap? Or is there an aluminum right ear cap that would fit this helmet?
The ears are cast into this helmet. The upper right ear where the RF goes is the only thing seperate. All of the parts are included with the kit though.
Ya, what he said. Thanks!!
cool. Is anyone making the armor in cold cast, or helmets only?
I got mine in the mail Tuesday. It is fantastic. I usually build clones, so this is my first Fett. I love the cold cast. I hadn't ever seen or heard about this type casting process. I am looking forward to painting it.
Question: Is there an extra bit that needs to be cut off of the upper ear cap? I don't see it on anyone's builds. Do I cut it off? I am painting it up ROTJ style. Thanks

There will be part of the bottom of the ear cap is will need to be removed. I would look at the Ref Gallery and compare it to the screen helmets and you will see what needs to be removed.
I included pics above to see if I am removing the right bit, but you have to click them to view? Loading up pics is different here. I will have to learn how it works. Thanks.
I have some good news. I have been training a Padawan. What does that mean? Well, my friend who has not worked in over a month will be able to help me keep with demand. She is used to filling teeth with resin so, helmets are not a stretch for her.
AWESOME!!!
Asok I just got my cold cast helmet today! Thanks for the super fast shipping and the helmet looks wonderful. I was surprised to have it here today sinced it shipped on Monday! I can hardly wait to start polishing, putting it all together and painting it. Again I love the cold cast idea. I think the cold cast design will give a more realistic metallic look versus painting. Again i must say you did a great job on this cast and a great looking helmet! Thanks again!
Awesome dear Asok I'm happy for you brother !!!!!!! You have done a great job!!!!!!
Leo
Thanks guys! :hug Just working to make items the way I would want then and treat people the way I would like to be treated.
So... Are you still selling these? Currently trying to build my own, but I wouldn't mind having one of these. Looks a little more reliable than the one I'm working on. Cursed cardboard.
Get one (or two) they are awesome and you will enjoy them much more than cardboard.
Just send Asok a PM he will get back to you.
I have no doubts that I will. However, I'll finish my cardboard one too. Just for the satisfaction of knowing that I have made something myself :D
Sent him a PM now.
I received mine Monday. This is an incredible helmet and Asok sets the bar for customer service. I had a lot of questions and the way he organizes all his correspondence is very impressive. From the first email to opening my box- the whole process was enjoyable- with 0 issues.
Guess I’ll be replacing my picture soon and tossing the Hasbro! Thanks for helping me take my kit to the next level Bro!
Dont toss the hasbro man! That thing is great!!!
Asok,
I am very interested in picking up one of these if you are still doing them. Excellent work and thanks for supporting the community!
Yes I am still doing them. You can PM me or just email me.
You won't be sorry - these helmets are fantastic. The customer service is great and the quality is top notch. I will be getting another...just saving my pennies.
PM sent
Got my helm in the other day from Asok and I just say it looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to working on it before too long. Waiting to move into my new house then I'll be able to get started on it.
Thanks again for a great product Asok.
Got mine in the mail today and all I can say is WOOOOWWWWWW!!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:suprise:suprise
Thought I'd say hello as a new member!
I've justed ordered mine (as a birthday present to myself!) I look forward to getting it!
Thanks very much Asok for the great communication by the way!
YES. Mine is 10 days away from being in my hands. so looking forward to it!! :D What a great chap to talk to as well.
Picked up my kit from the post office today, as it arrived yesterday. It looks absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait to get it all finished up! Wonderful service and communications all the way! Thanks a lot, Asok :D
I caved. Had to get one of these so I'm on the list. I'm freakin' as excited as Boba with Han in tow! :fettesb <----- He looks excited, doesn't he?
Hi, got mine a few days ago! Great thankyou ASOK!!
...and all those thousands of miles and undamaged too! Well done postal services!
Dex
Got mine this afternoon, Thank you Asok!
Super fast shipping and process.
Think you can Email me/PM the link to the place where you got it? and can you actually wear it? Curious cause I want to make my own helmet.
I would suggest sending a PM to ASOK since this is his thread concerning the helmets that he offers for sale. Yes, they all are able to be worn as well.
But why do you want to buy one if you are saying that you want to make your own?
PM or email. My address is in the first post. Also, to those who would like me to paint, you would need to find somebody to paint it. I paint like a 2 year old. Sorry to the 2 years olds out there. :lol
Thanks again Asok. Had mine a while now, drilling for earpiece & RF will be commencing this week. Also, where can I leave you feedback with this iTrader thing they implemented? :P You deserve it!
Thanks and I am not sure how to leave feedback yet. Have yet to read that far.
I think it's automatically added to the thread-starter in the cargo hold forum.
To leave feedback, just click on the screen name. There will be a tab for "Feedback Score." You'll get the hang of it from there ;)
I just did this for Asok, as working with him has been second to none. Truly a fantastic experience. Thanks for the CC Bucket!
Ah, yeah that works too. :)
Dear Asok Interested!!!!!!!
Leo
Just got mine and it looks great. cant wait to start painting.
Got mine recently and the quality is awesome, got my friend drooling over it so you may be getting another order soon Asok. ;)
Just got my ASOK CC boba lid shipped to Australia. I'd just like to say how great ASOK is to deal with. He is a true professional! 5 star service all the way.
Dan,
Drop me an email and I will get you on the list to get a helmet. I do not take money until I am ready to ship you a helmet.

I received my helmet and it is fantastic! Many thanks to asok for being exceptionally communicative and kind.
I just got my helmet and it is a work of art. Asok is a true professional.
Yeah, Asok is pretty much the man.
I'm paying for my cold cast helmet tomorrow and very excited! I've used the cold casting process on some of my fine arts sculptures when I didn't feel like paying the foundry $600 min for hot cast solid bronze. Looked and felt like the real thing and even added patina.
My question is about painting over it as I've never done so. Not sure if I'm doing a topical or reverse layer paint job. If were to do a topical paint and cover up cold cast aluminium layer completely with paint, does anyone notice if helmet still has that metal feel? I think touching a fett helmet that feels like cold metal is just really neat!
After talking wih asok about it I agree that it's just cool to cast it this way. More like it would be in real life. Either way I'm stoked to grab the awesome FP kit and the cold cast is just a cool bonus.
I've been a star wars collector since the 90s and building projects just as long but I'm finally just around to this one so I'm stoked! It's for ddisplay so I plan to do rf lights. Also, I want to sculpt interior details like people have done based off riddell helmets. Just for personal use and cast in a self skinning foam and paint. Just a fun show off feature since I'm a sculptor anyway. Finally it will live in my ikea case with plaque. Getting ahead of myself though as I have months of tedious work when my kids go down for nap.
Makes me stoked to see how much everyone loves their helmets though!
Out of curiosity, does anyone have a pic of one of these next to the MR bucket that came out? I'm just trying to see the difference in size between these two because I had one of his Jango helmets and that one looked a little smaller when displayed right next to the MR one so I was hoping these were a little closer in size to them.
The Jango is smaller.
I am interested in one of these awesome helmets. Email sent.
Just got my bucket in today. Fast shipping, AMAZING customer service, and the product is flawless!
I picked up the Boba helmet thinking I was going to use it to build my first custom mando. But after looking at the helmet for about an hour I really don't think I can bring myself to fill in the dent. This thing isn't just a helmet it's a work of art.
If you're thinking about getting one of these stop thinking and just hit that paypal button. It's well worth it!
Got my bucket and I just have to say, stunning! Can't wait to get to work on it :D
What are the pros and cons of CC?
Pros: you don't need to prime or paint silver.
Cons: the only con I can think of with these buckets is the lack of damage (other than the dent of course). I mean, it is the FP budget bucket so I definitely understand. Otherwise these buckets are definitely the way to go unless you want to wait for asok to put out his new FP casts.
PM sent! I had to jump on this. Been looking for a good kit to try my hand at painting, this one looks like the way to go. :fettrotj
Pm sent looking for a helmet
You can't go wrong with an Asok CC lid. Great guy to buy from and the lid is top notch.
this may be answered somewhere, but is the RF stalk hollow to allow for running LEDs?
I have a Salamander king ESB remote set up I would want to use.
Asok uses solid aluminum stalks. There are a few people that make light kits that may fit. Hyperdyne labs is one.
Nevermind the Salamander king LEDs are self contained no need for a hollow RF, I missed that on my first read through of his sale thread :P
Well...I guess I got my answer and it's.....AWESOME!!!!

Thank you again asok, and I'm looking forward to getting a GMH from you sometime in the very near future.
Great comparison shot, Verbal. The correct visor makes all the difference, it looks so much more menacing!
This bucket is so amazing!!! This'll definitely be what I go with when I have some more money! :b
Thanks for the great service, and product I totally recommend this kit ,Asok is great to work with hes very professional ,pleasure to be doing business with you. Also thanks for that extra piece . Very satisfied customer here:thumbsup:thumbsup:D

Now that I have it, do you guys know which visor will fit it best? It didn't come with one and just want to make sure to get one that fits this bucket. Thanks!
Very cool!
And yes, I am still making the Budget Boba. Just drop me an email.
Yep when I have them in stock. And seeing your bucket in the kitchen is making me hungry. Guess where I am off to?
Thanks Asok! I love it, you did a phenomenal job... I am ITCHING to get painting, and I just can't stop looking at this thing. It's amazing. Thanks for the info about the visor, I will get on that ASAP.
Just finished the steel wool work...

wow is not even a word worth expressing how nice this cast is.
Got it today and love it. This is easily one of the best upgrades for my Fett suit. Now to figure out which paint job..One helmet down two to go
thank you for the quick and well handled service. Now there will be another Fett brother walking around on the west coast.
