I've gotten what I believe is a Don Post 95 helm?
How do I fix the visor? What would be the easiest way to take out that dumb black part going down the middle, and replacing the visor with a new strip? Other than that, I could probably fix it up with a new paint job, but my primary concern is the visor. It'd be better than sending it back and scouring for a new one that's just as cheap. Thanks!
I'd use a dremel with the cutting wheel attachment. They have that like that becuase the helmet is made from vinyl, so without it, it would be very weak and warp. If you get a nice visor for it, it should hold its shape well. I've seen some really nice DP helmets, so it can be done!

What material is that? I'm on a tight schedule, the con I'm going to is next week!
If you want to cut the t-visor yourself. You can go to a welding supply store and get a grade 5 green welding visor. they are about $18. Hope this helps
