First time painting ROTJ

Whoa you really did get on a roll! Looks really good and it's hard to believe those are all from rattlecans! Looking forward to seeing the finished product later tonight,
Oh i just noticed the blue in your left arrow.. I am not sure the overall thoughts, but i was told by one of the master painters here that that arrow is black.....

That arrow and the cheeks look awfully close to each other....I do think it started out black...but faded from when it was black when it was a white helmet for the super trooper.

You can't really know unless you painted the helmet. That color looks close to the cheek color. If not the same color. But black can fade and look different then it originally did. Just saying that the color isn't really that black looking.

thank you !! i used rafa's templates for this helmet and the color for the cheek and the arrow use the same code so when i was done with the dome i took a little detail brush and dabbed in some left over color so its a little green , black , silver , and blue

I'm starting to think your arrow color looks nice, maybe just alittle too filled in. Maybe pull some of the color out with a dental pick or something fine and sharp to better match the reference photo.

I think for a first time painting it came out really good. I know other member's can point out the small issues and tweaks but well done from me :)

well it's a little too late for all of that , helmet is on its way to its new amazing home hahah I don't hold on to stuff very long unless it's for my personal builds but even then I sell costumes and build new ones on the regular .

Yes, it is important to have the helmet! Haha. Well either way it turned out great!

oh yeah I have a DVH with rangefinder remote kit and aluminum stalk and real Borden and real mq1 board still waiting to grab a light kit for it that I'll be keeping for my personal fett . Thank you sir !!
