Fiberglass build -Rafal Fett templates

Cardboard molds. Silicone release. Top, bottom and keyholes were 3 separate pieces. All spray paint. I think the purchased stalk is too long. Found the correct Polaroid camera for $3 at a thrift store. Not done yet. Plenty of mistakes, but I expect this to be the last Fett Helmet I make. Can't beat Rafal Fett's V2 templates. Thanks Rafal Fett for all your time along the way.

Definitely looks like a helmet build to me. His last post was for me personally to show me his 4th shin too. I don't feel that warrants a move of his thread.

Kudos! So did you use the RF templates to make the molds, and is the resulting cast on the "inside", thus making the helmet slightly smaller? Or did you take a complete mold of the finished cardboard helmet? Sorry if this question sounds ignorant or obtuse

Correct. I used the templates to to make carboard molds and laid fiberglass and resin inside. It did come out a little smaller. I had to cut it apart an re-glass it to fit, so it's pretty close on dimensions. Not the easiest route, but I wanted to do my own build and this is reasonably cheap.
