That is a genuine recast of a recast! This upstanding citizen purchased the bucket off of slartibartfast and then molded his own shoddy version, so we see a photocopy of a photocopy of a.....where does it all end.
I can tell as the picture of the back has the exact fault line as Slarti's where the re-recaster didn't bother to clean up before remolding.

Well that's disappointing.

Nice detective work , recasters suck, I see it a lot with 1/6 scale tank parts

I cant believe people man. Its just ridiculous. One of the reasons i dont really sell my Fett helmet. I put 2yrs into making it and just dont want this to happen..though i guess it would be inevitable. I will offer them again eventually :/

So i sent him this message...

"This is NOT a fettpride helmet. I really suggest you remove that from your auction. It was obviously recast off of another seller who has recast FP's budget helmet. The fiberglass work is shoddy at best, NOT what FP sells. I will be reporting this to E-bay and Fettpride. If you want to sell Fett helmets, make your own and sell that, do not steal other peoples work..just not cool"

then i got this response:
Hi, thanks for your interest in my auction. I'm glad that you know for sure that this isn't a Fettpride helmet just by looking at a few photos. This is a very solid fiberglass helmet great thickness and craftsmanship. Thanks Again Boba F.


So i replied:
"Since ive owned a few, yes i can tell. you would never see a square of glass fabric in the top like that in one of his. Especially since he casts his with fiberglass matt, not cloth, but hey what do i know right? I just spoke to him and he said he has already contacted you, also saying it is not one of his..i think he'd know what his own work looked like. so im not going any further with this. Im not gonna argue with ya. Just know alot of people already have pointed this out in the community so i wouldnt bother making any more, if thats what you did here, and if not, i would fix the auction. you take care buddy"

Then he said this:

Yes I have contacted Chris to resolve any questions he my have. This looks like to be made from Cloth(Which is stronger then Mat). I wouldn't ever sell a bad product due to negative feedback and the fact I would be wasting my time in doing so. Thanks Again for your interest . Steven



Interesting how he changed tune as soon as i said i spoke to Chris. Also he doesnt know what he's talking about..Fiberglass Mat is way stronger than cloth lol

I don't really give a **** about your tangents or the assholes at the dented helmet, but I do care about you ripping my helmet. You didn't do a ****ing thing to make it different or 'yours'. If you did, wouldn't you have at least got rid of the huge flaw in the back? Whatever, you bought this off of me here on Ebay and are now selling it as yours - that is against Ebay policy and they will hash it out with you. The rest of the ******** is irrelevant.

Looks like it, but you can't really "recast" aluminum. Its a basic design that could have been made or obtained anywhere, and then just cut from aluminum. If this was the only one he ever sells it could just be one of Nathans. This would be a part i wouldnt look to hard into. Its to simple a design, anyone could make it really

So you are not a tubby fellow now, congrats! Sorry I didn't get your joke, I have been out of high school for some time and have gotten rusty. By the way, a dick is a dick, and you certainly are one, even if you might think recasting a recast is somehow alright.
And by the way, if you have nothing to hide, why is your once open Facebook page now hidden from the public, asshat?
