FETTPRIDE ESB PAINT UP (heavy on the pics)

So about a month ago I received my FettPride helmet in the post. Let me begin by saying that Chris’s work is top notch. I opted for the “economy” version he’s currently offering. There’s nothing about this helmet that say’s “economy.” Awesome work, but there’re already multiple threads singing FP’s praises. This is about my ESB paint up.

I’ve been taking photos as I’ve been going along, and to be honest, I’m almost done. Still remaining: both earcaps, kill stripes, and then all that wonderful weathering and detailing. This is the first chance I’ve had to transfer the images and get them up. I’ll post them as I get them organized and what not.

For what it is, here’re my WIP images…please let me know what you think.

I started with the mandible area, which is the opposite of what I normally do. I guess at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what order you go in...

Thanks...and yes, I'm airbrushing this bad boy...got lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) when the Pearl Art location in my city closed shop. I got 75% of a really nice airbrush that would normally be way out of my league.

Anyway, here are a few more pics...

I mixed a couple of drops of Polly Scale RLM 83 Green with white to get the mint color...and here's the final pics on the back panels after adding the RLM 73
