    ESB next to ROTJ

Hey guys. I'm sure this is somewhere out there but does anyone have any pics of people wearing ESB helmets next to people wearing ROTJ helmets? I kinda wanna see proportions of the two next to eachother. I hear ESB is wider and then some say that is not true. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is an old topic

People wearing helmets isn't going to be a good comparison, since 2 fan helmets could be radically different in shape. Some fan made helmets have more flare to look ESB-like.

Even 2 shots of the movie suit would vary depending on camera angle, focal length, etc... I think the only way you'd ever know for sure is to get the 2 original helmets in the same room next to each other.

Allright. I only ask because I've noticed some helmets to be wider than others and I was curious if it was just the person that did it or if they used a different version for their helmet. I've gotten PMs saying they were curious too and if I got any pics to show them. I was more or less after the truth behind the difference in shape between the two, ESB and ROTJ.

I believe the helmets are the same shape. I think the ESB flair came from the camera angles. I notice with my helmet, it appears to have more flair when you have your chin up when you wear it. I also heard that Jeremy Bulloch had trouble seeing out of the helmet, and had to look through the bottom to see as he walked. To me, it seemed like the times that the flair looked the most, on screen, was while he was walking. Like in the Bespin dining hall, when he walks in next to Vader. Kind of supports the theory. Just my 2 cents

    well, see this thread:

for an example of how much the angle of the shot changes the look of a helmet. it's also got some of the best flare-debunking i've seen.

Thanks guys, that helps a lot. I was unsure if they were different models or if its the angle. I know there are a few angles it looks REALLY wide and others its not. I just didn't know if some of that was angle related and some of it was different bucket sizes. I appreciate it. Thanks!
