here is my second helmet paint up on this great piece of art, a great GMH helmet that fit perfectly with my body.
lot of thanks to "paint by number" threads and the works of Rafalfett and Terminal fettlers.
so now lets go with the pics of the working progress
there are so many great threads so forgive me if i don't post them in the correct sequences xD

Looking good! I would make the red on the mandibles a little more deeper though, it has too much of an orange hue to it I think. What color did you use?

thanks bro! used the red 73 humbrol like said in the threads.
in real it's a little darker than the poto but you have right in that phone picture is a little orange

I use my phone and my ipad a lot to take progress pics, and I do most of my work under fluorescent lighting, which is not good for getting a good white balance. I wish the camera app let you put a gray card in the photo so you could custom white balance it. Would make it easier to critique colors and the like on paint jobs.
I think yours is looking awesome. Hope mine goes as well.
