    Electronics Help, Please

    Hey guys, I am hoping that one of you electronic guru's could help me out. I just bought a helmet that came with a hyperdyne labs servo controller board and also a RF reciever and transmitter (Except I do not think that part is hyperdyne labs).

    I am so puzzled on how this thing works and am just trying to figure out the basics. I was wondering if anyone had a close up picture of where their servo controller board wires connect into the RF transmitter board. I was told by the previous owner that the problem was with the reciever and transmitter, so If the wires are in the correct spot and it doesnt work then I will get another reciever and transmitter board (I can get one cheaper then at hyperdynes, and just do the wiring myself). If anyone could take a pic of what wires go where you will be my hero! Thanks for any help!

    Heres a pic of everthing.

    And this is where I am trying to find out what wires go where. I took them out of each spot and plan to reinsert them when I find out where each one properly goes. Thanks again!

    I just finished installing my kit from HD so maybe I can help. First off, if you haven't, take the battery off, don't want to needlessly fry anything...
    Secondly, looks like all the wires on the recieve unit are backwards, just going from memory but I think the purple goes on the opposite end. Let me check when I get home and I'll get you the info.

    ***EDIT***
    Mine is set up from right to left;
    2 gray
    2 red
    empty
    1 purple
    1 orange
    empty
    1 green
    1 yellow

    But it looks like your harness is different, you might try getting with Jim maybe he can help.

    Thanks so much for the reply man! So does yours have 8 slots, like mine or does it have less. I have seen some that have 6 slots and some that have 8 or 10. I plan on getting a new transmitter and just trying to figure out how to install it. Would by any chance you have a pic of yours? Thanks do much for the help I appreciate it.

    Yep it has 8, I'll try and take a few pics. It's all tucked in my bucket nice and neat so it might be hard to get some clear shots. I'll take a shot of the transmitter as well.
