I've been slacking on getting this helmet wip up here, but here we go!

Had to leave the nest for a bit to help my mother in her office, so I took nighthawks armor and RB's helmet with me to work on. :)

Threw down the custom RLM look alike mix.

Silver, I still prefer diamond dust from Testors, will be trying a tamiya alternative soon though as lacquer is kind of a butt to work with.

Masking the entire helmet getting ready for the grey layer... I like to do this all at once for convenience. I can work on the rest of the helmet while the rear panels dry :).

A family picture! I was planning on fixing up that helmet on the far right, the rear panels cracked off when it fell off the table, but the owner who is a member here opted to finish them himself, I don't blame him! I got bogged down with life stuff along with the commissions I got in. So! He asked if I could just do some detailing before I sent it back:

Did the tape residue (which look smeary towards the blurry rear, but they aren't :) ) under the kill stripes along with the chalk marks (not pictured), don't have a pic of the carbon residue on the bottom of the cheeks, but they'll be there!

Ok, just a sneak peak at the helmet for now until I get the red on. The green looks FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC. Like I said, it's a new green mix. It retains it's greenness in daylight a lot better than my personal GMH does. And in the dark it's still dim with that minty dull hue that the original prop has. I can't wait to see the contrast with it!

Yeah that green contrasted with the black looks sick. If I were making a custom Mando helmet that looks bad to the bone as is!

Very nice work...and (y) (y) on the dr. Seuss book in the background.
We have read many of his books here at my house too.
