Don Post/Rubies style latex helmet

UnFathomable

New Hunter
I bought this helmet for 35 bucks a few months back and is the main reason I am on this site. The helmet itself is not the greatest quality but its what I have to work with (for now) so I was wondering if anyone has any tips, tricks, mods, ideas, kits, anything to make this helmet better.

I do wanna put in a full t-visor and am not sure where to pick up some material to cut it out of for cheap.
Also the rangefinder thing is garbage it falls far to low and doesn't meet up with the visor, anything helps
guys.

I'm doing the same thing with a don post '95 and have a thread here http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f23/don-post-95-refurbish-46035/. I got my t-visor from t-visor.com. I would start with heating it up and correcting the shape. I added fiberglass to the inside of mine so it will keep it's shape and not deform later. Also I used a dremel to cut out the t-visor and am also using it so grind off the ears at the moment. With a little work(or a lot) it's surprising how well these helmets can fix up.
