Hey guys, i'm looking to display my helmet and looking for a good helmet stand. Any recommendations? and a good size? thanks :)

I just made one out in the shop, and painted it gloss black. It is basically just a base and a piece of wood sticking up to hold the helmet.

Jayvee use a clock to make his...came out awesome

great idea with the clock! might have to make one of those. I usually just use kitchen roll holders for mine, then add an upside down plastic bowl on the top of it to create a dome for the helmet to sit on.

The ol' clock method actually worked out nicely. Dom actually just reminded me that I even used this method back then, I must be in the status of 'old fart'. It's just finding the right clock that will work, and going on VEEERRY low speed drilling a hole in the clear plastic, because you can easily crack it. But take your time, and you actually get a nice, clean little display :)

The clock idea is awesome.. It turnes out really nice. I've always thought of getting a wall helmet mount, that would be pretty cool.

nemesis, I've been cruising the forums like a madman and I'm quite sure I stumbled across helmet stands offered up by Woodman. And no, I couldn't find it again by searching.

Regards-
