    Re: cupluv's FPH ESB Build-up.

Sorry about the lack of updates, had to put all projects on hold so I could get a project finished for last weekend. However this helmet build up is back in full swing.

I ended up to redo the back panel on the right side, there was an accident during paint curing and a full repaint was unavoidable. With the back panels completed, I can now start on the lower cheeks and dome.

And the Rangefinder was completed too.

    oo looks nice,

i need a little help, ive been making my own helmet, with the stencils and stuff, but the helmet seems huge on me, im not a tall chap, but i think it may be out of proportion, everything fits together fine, so everything is on the same scale, but it just seems massive, could any one give me some measurements, from their own helmets so i can compare it with mine, maybe the width and breadth of the base of the hemlet , so from front to back, and side to side

if any one could help id be very thankful.

    cheers jobi

Fantastic! I love the dusting of gray along the edges of the cheekbone and the dent. Looks really authentic.

It's been a little while since I updated the thread, but it's about time to do so!

Keep in mind that the back of the helmet is painted, it just doesn't have the masking removed.

Currently I am repainting/weathering the killstripe decals, they are getting painted the correct colour yellow, and backmisted with the orange paint on the last several kill stripes. After that, I want to add a few extra tones, plus the white acrylic blotches near the kill stripe area. One other little detail that needs to get done is to paint the borden connector on the cheek, and once I do that it will get its last coat of matte finish and it will be shipped out tomorrow afternoon!
