helo guys, soon i will try to paint a fett helmet but i'm wondering about what is the last layer... i mean, after all the paint ecc what can i use for covering and protect my paintjob? is there a specific trasparent spray paint to use?

What Catbread said. I've also used rustoleum matte which worked great. Another option that many modelers use is Future floor finish, fed through an airbrush. Very fine results with that option.

I'll never use Rustoleum or Krylon clear coats of any kind ever again, I've had them both ruin paint jobs in the past no matter how many weeks the paint has cured.
I only trust Testors or Model Masters clear coats.

Future floor polish brushed on is also very fine as well. I've used it on small and large areas brushed on and it is great stuff.
