Correct ROTJ Color Helmet

Hi TDH members,

I'm new here. I'm Christian from South America. I make my owns props and I'll try to show all my work in this forum to receive your opinions.

Now, I am finishing my Boba ROTJ helmet and I'm not clear about the green colors. In the movie, the helmet looks with three different green colors and in some pics I saw only two.

In the pic I show the colors. Also for me, green2 is the same color of the armor. Thats is correct?

As far as I know, the exact colors used on the RotJ helmet remain a mystery.

You are right that there are 3 different colors.

I'm not sure about Green3 being the same as the armor though...



To me it looks like another color all together.

I usually do a combination of black, a little blue, and a bit of green.

the dome and lower cheeks are the same green its lighter than the armor obviously...the upper cheeks are BLUE not green with black over them, the back of the helmets another green...I use moss green from rustoleum for the dome and cheeks and hunter green for the rear of the helmet VERY close match

Yes, I'm agree. I painted the helmet with green(20%)/blue(80%) = green 3 (upper cheeks). But, I was not sure if this color was corrected.

I think the green2 (back) is to close or same to the armor color.

green 2 i think is very different than the armor... in the mom photos there are lots of good shots of it.
