The only difference is this: if you want to see the wavy brow, then it's there, if you don't want to see it, then it isn't there.
I have to completely disagree with that statement, sorry buddy.. its there, not because some of us agree and some of us don't... my examples are on the next post and pics below.
I personally just paint it on
You might have something to that...
After speaking with FP, and reviewing all the high res pics (in the gallery and my own) I think
Three things contribute to what we know as the "wavy brow".
#1: There is definately a repair or
"Crack" of somekind, as shown in my
previous pic on post #29 and the pic below.
#2: There is a
"Paint Overlap" on the under side of the brow..(second pic below)
#3: The brow rim is thinner in that spot when compared to the rest of the brow as you move outward....(second pic below)
The crack in question is there during ESB filming without a doubt. Nobody has yet put it into their replica as far as I know.
Agreed, I've always thought the wave on the brow was also there during filming, I think it's what gives the hero helmet on screen it's overall look.
But for this project I'm sticking to the AOSW version, mainly cause there's more reference material.
