Child Sized Fett Helmet - MOLDS FINISHED ! !

Got the helmet and I have to say, it looks great! On the down side, it's too small for my daughter. She's 10 and about 4'5". However, it will be perfect for my nephew. He's 4 and I know he will love it. Thanks JD!

Can't believe I missed this thread! Wow, that's a very cool smaller helmet for the kids. Most impressive.

Finally... the perfect helmet for Mirax!! :)

What about skinny little me? I know some people that can't even fit a DP '95 over their noggins, and I had to pad both sides of the inside of mine to have it hold my head. ;)

Got my helmet, wait my son's helmet. It looks great and received it in record time. Now to gather the info and courage to start the build.

Thanks

I never imagined that this would be such a populated thread. I origionally thought two people wanted this done, and look what happened. :rolleyes I think these turned out better than my regular jango helmet. (second time's a charm :D ) Best of all, they're in the same $$ range as a rubies, but gelcoated fiberglass, and a chrome plated steel rf stalk. The rf is designed to be permanantly in the upright position, for child safety reasons. Delivery time on these is about a week. Any questions, pm me. :)

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who is passing on my Fandom as well as "Geekdom" (in my wife's loving opinion) to my son. :)

Great work on the helmet!

Here is my son's (Brady Fett) finished ESB Kids Helmet.

Thanks Dwedd. The helmet is great, a dream to work with.

A couple more pics of him in his helmet and jet pack are in this thread http://tdh.prop-planet.com/viewtopic.php?topic=10205&forum=1

Happy Hunting

I must say, you certianly turned it into a work of art. A few others have finished these little buckets very nice also, both as Boba, and Jango. Perhaps they would like to display them again, here in this thread. :)

Here is a comparison between my mystery helmet and my son's JD helmet. I have to admit that I didn't spend as much time and effort into the small helmet's paint job as I did my own...I'm a horrible father!

Awesome job guys! Can't wait to get mine and do them up. My son is going to be ecstatic when he finds out I got him his own "real" helmet. :)

Judge Dwedd, I would love to buy one of these as well if you're selling unpainted pulls! After a year's worth of work, my son's Fett costume is almost finished, but the DP helmet is simply too big and throws off the scaling of the entire costume. Plus, he can barely lift his shoulders without hitting the helmet, so he looks like a bobble head. If we wait too long, he's going to grow into the helmet and outgrow the rest of the costume before he ever gets to wear it, and I think we've put way too much time and effort into this costume to stop now. If you can sell us one, you'll make his Halloween! :)
