I'm building a Boba and have all the armor and undersuit but the help I have doesn't fit my big noggin, Any advice on where to find a larger helmet?

I also am looking for boots and the site everyone is pointing to is all out until March at the earliest. Any other ideas?

thanks!!!

how big is big?
I got a 59cm hat circumference and can afit most helmets. if u are using a smaller sized likd - try the patented 'screw top' TK helmet method (well u got a TK, you'll know wot I am talking abt). turn helmet 90 degrees, lower on to head in a screwing method - only way I can get a AP TK lid to fit

I think anythin other than a DP95 should be ok - shouldnt it?
MSH/MSH2 were said to be a little bigger compared to DP95/BM lids IIRC

I am still catching up at the moment, my info is a little out of date now - cos I knew Natty and MSH, FP and MSH2. but I think theres a new FP lid known as the FPH - not sure in terms of size there that lid fits in.

sure the more experience Fett heads here will chime in soon.

wot have you tried so far btw?

oh and welcome fellow whitearmour brother ;P

I'm a 7 3/4 head size.

I tried the screw top method - can't even get it down half way.

When I go direct, the cheeks press against my cheeks as I lower it, with some good grease, I can get it on and off but it's really TIGHT. Plus having to explain why both my cheeks are read and scratch at work would be "interesting" :facepalm

ah thats tight.
I get the same prob with MR ROTS clone helmets - darn those are tight lids

do u get that with the MSH? cos I think they are the biggest. a alternative might be a scratch built WOF modified to fit u head?

again - mroe expereinced fatt heads pls chime in; I am very much at re-research phase once again and have only tried a DP95 and MSH2 personally

I have a 24" (61cm) head. I had to go with the WOF Scratch Built method. It's a process to get one done, but worth the time to make one that fits.

What helmet are you using now? Is it a Don Post or Don Post based? Mystery size?

I would say get an FPH since they are available again. I also wear a 7 3/4 hat size and it is plenty roomy and you can't get more accurate. Look for Fettpride's interest thread for his upcoming armor, helmet, and gauntlet runs. IMHO, an FPH is the single wisest investment you can make in building a Boba Fett costume.

I got a fat head and NEED glasses, I am making my own WOF template version, I just used the standard size and it fits Perfectly, but it is a real time consumer (been working for 2 months now) I put it on kind of face first, then top it over my head.

What he said. haha. I would highly recomend an FPH! It is one of the most accurate ESB helmets out there. Although, you could use it for ROTJ...

Now there should be a warning label against using ROTJ....

I think it says "Using ROTJ may short batterys" and we wouldnt want that...

:lol:cheers

I have between a 7 5/8 and a size 8 head and it is also fairly long. I'm using a Mystery Helmet. It fits, bearly, if you do not pad it. I'm trying to find foam and what not thin enough so I can pad it.
