The Rabbit ears bucket still has a lot to go before being done. Since I have been working fulltime on my Boba Display, it has been on he back burner.
Now that my display is almost done, minus my new JP I'm waiting for, I will resume it along with the ESB bucket.
I will then "swap out" buckets time to time on the display to keep it fresh.
The MSH2 is the best bar none, this one I want to make it like the real prop where as the others I made more for convention/show costuming rather then like the real prop. So no foam padding, fans, screens, speakers, R/C servos, linings, etc. will go into this one.
Is it my imagination, or does the white one look like it was squeezed from front to back, in order to make the sides flair out more? I first noticed the difference in the top view, but in the profile pic, it looks longer at the band, than it does at the bottom.

It may just be the angles of the photo, I can see what your talking about a little in the third pic with the left side, but the right side dosn't look it to me.
Quite possibly an illusion. The angles of the helmet can be very decieving. When I was building my helmet model, I was constantly re-checking things. I thought I'd never get it to a point where I'd be happy.
I love the flare on that sucker, its amazing how accurate that flare is. I think where at the point where you cant get anymore more accurate than having the real deal. 99.9% accurate! Truely amazing.
Nice! I wish I had waited for this sucker! But no worries Mr.Fettpride will make a Jango wink wink - hint hint - ahhhh waves Jedi hand in front of Fettpride.
The problem with that is the MSH2 dome is too high for a Jango. The hight increase makes it a PERFECT boba, but defeats the purpose of Jango IMO. The Jango helmet has a lower/rounder overall dome shape to it. That's why I took a belt sander to the dome of my DP DLX to get as close to that as possible (fortunately it was cast thick!). Don't get me wrong though, the MSH2 is the ULTIMATE ESB helmet period & I plan on getting one. Jango is a whole other enigma altogether with as much variance & unique angles as the original ESB helmet. This is the result of what I did to my DP DLX:
I agree I think the dome is too high for a Jango on the MSH2, but it is beautiful for Boba...absolutely gorgeous...and not as big as I expected, which is good cuz I was afraid it'd be too big for me. I'll put up some comparison pics tomorrow when I have a digital camera. I can take some pics of the MSH2 next to the DP95 and DP95 recast right now, but they won't be very good quality and I don't have the DP DLX with me right now.
Okay here's some really crappy comparison shots of the MSH2, DP95, and DP95 based cast/sculpt. Sorry for the crappy quality, I will have a digital camera this week sometime so I can take some much better photos.
