broken rangefinder

4 days til halloween and the rangefinder breaks off. Any ideas?

hehehe... ive gooped it but it doesnt seem to be holding very well. I feel like some kinda drama queen the past few days. Everytime something screws up, I'm asking you guys. I guess its just the pre-halloween jitters.

Mindphunk, go git yourself some 5 minute epoxy...Or better yet some of that "Fast Steel" epoxy that is premixed, you just knead a piece and slap it on. Wait a half hour, then sand it, paint it, viola!

If it didn't break off right at the ear piece, you could try a piece of square brass tubing to cover the whole thing top to bottom with the broken point some were in the middle. The square brass tube would be stronger than the plastic and if you paint it up it probably wont be that noticeable.

great idea!!!now i wont have to try drilling a hole though my DP rangefinder when i route my wiring for the LEDS.
