Branding Iron (pic intensive)
Well, a while ago a good friend of mine told me about this idea he had to brand his guitar. He wanted to do something to it that would really make it his own. When he told me what it was he wanted to brand onto the guitar, I was all too eager to offer my metal working abilities to help with this project. We did a couple sample peices first, and he had the really sweet idea to incorporate some paint to look like it was branded on a blood smear. Given the nature of the brand, I thought you folks might like to see what we came up with.

that's flippin sweet! now get some head of cattle and start branding them too!
Re: Branding Iron (pic intensive)
this was possibly one of the most fun projects i've ever worked on. i was tempted to try and stamp it on my own thigh, but thought better of it
Re: Branding Iron (pic intensive)
That's cool. Don't think I've ever seen a branded guitar before. Glad to hear you thought better of putting one on your thigh!
Now you're gonna be going around branding a bunch of stuff with that thing aren't ya? LOL
Re: Branding Iron (pic intensive)
more than likely, yes i will be branding things at random. i've thought about searing one into the paint job on my car.

I wonder how many cattle ranchers are fans of the Fett...how long did that take you to cut out and weld up?
Re: Branding Iron (pic intensive)
Heck yeah man. If it wouldn't hurt so darn bad, I'd be tempted to do it on my back.
Re: Branding Iron (pic intensive)
That's insane! I love it.
