i'm doing up my rubies 97 boba helmet for a friends kid for haloween, and i'm getting tired of it never holding a shape for more than a few minutes after i take it out of the fridge. and since i'm planning on glassing my fang's soon, i may have enough fg mat left over to coat the rubies. my question is, has anyone ever glassed a rubies 97? how did it turn out? i'm worried that the resin may eat the vinyl.

anyone with experience with this is more than welcome to chime in with advice.

lets run this up the flagpole again and see if anyone salutes. anyone have any experience with it?

I am in the middle of fixing up a rubies 97 and so far I can tell you that you can fiberglass it,but do note that it adheres spuraticly to the Vinyl, latex,or whatever the helmet is molded from but it shouldn't be a problem, there are enough crevices for it to hang onto.so far I have only put on to thin layers and plan on putting on a few more but so far its definitely made a huge difference.just remember im just makeing a display piece,if you are planing on whearing it I wouldnt glass it to much because you will get a tighter fit than you already have.
