Bobamaker ESB Completed

On the detail painting, are you free-handing all that or using some type of stenciling process?

wannab, sorry I didnt notice your question. I dont use stencils. I just look at the damage by eye and go over the area with a light pencil.

Alright I have an update. I started working on the back mandibles. I have been really lazy. I cannot start on the back because I dont have the right color, but that will come this saturday.

I added some carbon damage to the area around the dent, above it, and to the bottom of the cheeks. I love airbrushes, I highly recomend getting one.

edit- Wow, that background is creepy. Haha, just thought I would mention that this isnt my room. It is my grandmothers room and she likes cute baby pictures and such, so whatever she finds, she puts up haha.

Alright I told you I had another update coming before I go to sleep.

I got the left side 99% complete. The left ear was wiped down with thinner so I could redo it. I was never fully satisfied with it.

Looks great! What silver did you end up using. The Floquil Bright Silver has worked well for me so far.

Alright I can proudly say that I am almost at the finish line with this helmet. It is 99% done, all I need to do is finish painting the white on the left ear and I am done.

And yes, I did go a little overboard with the spattering...My mistake, lol
