Boba or Jungo bucket

I just want to know what is the SIZE difference between a helmet that you buy in a store (Toy R" Us) and the one you make yourself

Is it just because by making one it fits around your head better more customized or what?

I know by making my own it gives a certain pride in the helmet.

Jungo? Is that like Jango's brother? It's not the size so much as it is about the quality. The helmets you'll find being made by members on this board are very screen accurate for the most part. Detail and appearance are emphasized here. Cruise through the archives and you'll see the diff in the store bought ie: Rubies and what is produced by TDH members. There are modifications to some of the store helmets that can make them look better but for the money you can get a very good helmet from someone here that would require less work and skill to look great!

Like chestnuts and eggs The egg is the sceen used prop, and the chestnuts are the Toys 'r' Us helmets.

The helmets done by TDH members are like... plastic eggs, not the real deal, but awesomely close to it.

Ok, both are brown, but not the same.

At first I typed "Boba or JUNGLE bucket" Sorry about that !

I am planning on making my own scratch build helmet because of the fun and frustration of making it.

I pretty much did a good job with the my Metal Gear Cyborg Ninja helmet replica http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f32/foam-sculpt-people-has-hard-time-clay-sculpt-other-methods-30837/ without any templates so I figured with the Boba templates it would be easier.

think i should have had a go at making my own

I just bought a bucket on ebay, and was very dissapointed with it.
I have one on order from bobamaker...cant wait.
