Boba Greeblie

Hey All,

On Boba's helmet, on the right cheek, there is a small round greeblie (Borden Connector). Someone recently asked me what the purpose of this piece of the helmet is for? Anyone know?

Thanks,

umm... these parts have purposes? lol :D here i thought they were all on there because the sculptors thought they looked cool. i'd just tell someone that's part of the voice modulator

Pffffttt!!! Everyone who knows anything knows this one! It is so Boba can get his semi-annual teeth cleaning without remiving his helmet!!!!

Actually, if memory serves, I thought I saw it labeled as a "data port" somewhere.... funny that the Star Wars universe has hyperspace but lacks wireless data transfer....

I dunno if there's an "in universe" explanation for it, but I always thought it was some kind of atmosphere sensor that checked for toxic gases or something. *shrug*

Beauty spot.... deffo!

Soz.... couldn't resist? dunno but am inclined to agree with the data port idea (also saw this somewhere) :confused

Heck the SW hyperspace only goes the speed of light which is a flub since Hyperspace shortens the distance traveled and has nothing to do with speed.

The parsecs thing I understand. The hyperspace shortening distances I dont.

I understood 'hyper space' as 'light speed' Your surrounded by light that is travelin gas fast as you, creating a 'corridor' effect and your technicall not there as your atoms are at a state of acceleration.

As for why 'Parsecs' I understand it as only a fast enough ship, can get close enough to the 'Maw' cluster of black holes and then escape them.

Most slow ships have to go _way_ around.

A faster ship can fly a tighter pattern, meaning a shorter distance, meaning thats why you can do a run that is safe at a 16 parsec trip, can be done in 12 parsecs.

But I digress.

It connects a borden.
