Are you really going to wear a sig edition bucket to troop in? You are a braver man then I. Are you going to try and fix the pinch as well?

The pinch in your pocket I suspect if you should damage it.

Ding ding, if I dropped it or damaged it you would see a grown man cry.

you need to replace the visor anyway. not only does the visor create the pinch in the first place, but its also a little too see-through, even being double layered. Certainly more see-through than the standard green visor accepted here as canon. just FYI.

I have a signature edition helmet on the bench right now.
It's going to be worn for trooping
It's getting some repainting before that though.

Yeah, nothing wrong with trooping the SE. It has the feel of real weight, but not too bad. It has built-in electronics and nice interior padding. Fix the pinch, change the visor, and you're ready to go. Keep in mind that any great helmet will cost you between $300-$800. Also, they are built tough, so the SE is likely to survive a fall or two...
