hey fellow members! i was one simple thing. how many of you have altered a boba fett helmet image and increased the resolution and quality? im currently "molesting" a photo and fixing colors and so forth altering to look better, so my question is how many of you are doing this or have before, and is it considered good reference to paint a helmet. ill post a photo of the image im "altering" at the moment. sorry for the crude drawing but you can clearly tell which part has been made to look better and this is a work in progress so theres much to fix and blend.

Not sure what you mean. There are plenty of high rez images of the esb helmet in the gallery already.

well i mean increasing it even more. the images are great but i want to see what more can be done to them with out harming it to much, such as clarity. it was mainly a question of how many people have done this themselves.

Unfortunately, due to images being as old as they are, the correct colors/shading are really quite open to some interpretation. Any newer pics, such as the high res ones are probably your best bet for the truest reference possible.
Due to the aging of the helmet even the colors today have to be somewhat different to what was once though....
I'm not knocking your effort though, love to see some great images!
