    Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

I got this bucket from an artist that I know. It's fiberglass and the parts are resin. I just thought it was a great deal and wanted to share the opportunity with others. I can vouch for him that he's a stand up guy.

He was told the mold came from a screen used helmet but wanted to assure me that he can't verify that and couldn't claim it's veracity. He works more with comic sculpts and his own molds and designs.

The price is right and it's a good looking bucket from an untrained eye.

PM if interested and I'll put you in contact with him. I didn't want to post his site directly here as I'm not sure about MOD rules on that sort of thing.

I know of two members on this board that have that same helmet...maybe they will chime in and confirm it aswell...I do think they are stunt versions though.

still, a nice piece to have...

Pic is too fuzzy to be sure... but Alex seems to have 'clue'?

So why the secrecy.. there have been several 'sellers' of lids here...

No secrecy intended I just wanted to make sure that there were no conflicts of interest. I've been on some other costuming forums where such things are prohibited and I'm new here. I didn't want to step out of line before I got even 10 posts. So with that his name is Kris and you can reach him about the helmet via his website at http://www.hellskitchencc.com/

He is a stand up guy whom I've dealt with several times before and he will take care of you.

No worries on post counts with me bruv? we're all here for the same reason (at least I think so)
And I didn't mean anything about the secrecy thing other than that if there are several sellers already then another one ain't really gonna hurt and to be honest it's the buyer that will decide in the end...

Hey all, just to clear this up. I'm in no way getting paid or anything else for this plug for Kris. I was surprised to see he had this helmet and asked if I could buy one. It looked so good that I thought I'd give others the chance to pick one up. The price is right, and the helmet looks good. You can reach Kris at http://www.hellskitchencc.com/ Just tell him Rupidupe sent you about the Boba Fett helmet then stomp on the floor 3 times, turn in a circle and wink at the lemon merchant...you're in! LOL!

1 Vodka down? It's 3 p.m. here and I'm on my 3rd Jack/Coke. Everyone who has junk they want to sell, wait about another hour my vision should really be bad by then as well as my judgement. I'm going to wake up tomorrow with $800.00 worth of stuff cut off the back of cereal boxes.

First, I don't think the image is of sufficient quality to make any definite statements.
Second, it's appears to be missing several tells from the stunts.

More pictures are needed so that we don't jump to conclusions.

One good shot of the dent would tell us for sure, provided this is a good casting.

Re: Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

I should be getting mine in next week...I'll send quality pics as soon as it's here. Keep in mind guys I'm not claiming anything other than it's a nice looking helmet at a very good price. Anything beyond that is a bonus. But, I know the artist and as you can see by his website he doesn't produce junk.

Hmmm. . . looks like an MS1 or Sarge bucket.

Re: Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

I was hessitant to jump onboard making an observation until clear pics were displayed. I agree with Art and Dan to hasten judgment or speculation until proof what it is sufficiently displayed. I've seen castings with the rounded out eye slots before. Yhe dent in the photos appears a little soft as compated on the ESB helmets as well, No offense the piece is interesting but looking at the photos provided it doesn't show me anything we haven't seen before from deep linneage castings.

Re: Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

It looks a lot like an older Sgt. Fang mystery helmet. It's got the rounded cheek corners, seam down the back extending to the top, a fairly soft dent, keyslots w/ a little wonkyness, and mis-aligned arrows in front. Also, the bottom angle of the trim behind the ears and the seam on the lower RF earpiece. Looks just like mine when I received it from Fang way back.

Re: Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

Ears are def MS......but some of those angles are interesting to me....the only thing that doesn't scream MS is the fact that there is no lower inner right cheek indention next to the borden tool connector, a classic trait in ALL MS helmets. (remember the MS, MARROW SUN and SARGE are the same helmet)

But thanks for posting better shots, but they are still very grainy to tell IMO....

and would there be any shots of the molds?? maybe that would help..?

But still could be an MS1....

Here are some recent shots of GEO's recent sale of an MS1... the Cocked back right ear looks the same....and the uneven Triangles is another MS1 trait.....looking more and more like an MS the more I look.

Wow! You guys know your buckets! I talked to Kris this morning and he said that shipping from AUS is driving the cost of course but he'll send this kit worldwide for 170.00 USD shipped. Hope that's a good price and it enables some bros on here to get a decent start on a costume. Sounds like it's a good start to mine even if I'll have to do a little work on it. Thoughts?

Re: Boba Fett Fiberglass helmet kit

Kris is a great guy and 170 shipped isn't bad, but sadly there's lots of alternatives already. You can acquire virtually the same thing for less than that from Sgt. Fang from the pics you've posted.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I think it might be a hard sell when you could order it directly from the states for about $50 less. Kris does some great work though and always at affordable prices for everyone. Definitely one of the better, and nicest vendors out there for anything you need.
