BM, Mystery, and DP97 compared

That bm looks really nice...

Bm's helmet isnt all that diffrent from the mystery helmet from a far

ST, what exactly would you say the size difference is like between the BM and Mystery?
I'm also kinda curious why BM included some of the Mystery's innacuracies into his own sculpt, like the rounded cheek corners, and the mandible angles behind the earcaps

I think there's so much hubbub out there about the size of the mystery helmet that we overestimate it's actual size. When I got mine, which I got from a reputable source, I was shocked to find that the Mystery is about the same size as my DP deluxe recast. I even measured it up against the dimensions at TK409s site, and it all seems to be correct.

Just pulled out the tape and the BM is smaller all around. The dent is diffrent as well I think.

maybe DAZ used the mystery helmet as a form of reference while building his own sculpt, while at the same time adding some things he thought looked better and overlooking others.

Correct, the only reference I had when sculpting it were the 'visual dictionary' a few shots from the web and my MS. I now have more cool reference shots than I need, thanks to Brak's CD.

On the left side veiw there apears to be a chip, is that suposed to be there?

Or am I seeing things?

either your mystery helmet is a few generations further than mine, or your DP deluxe helmet is a few generations younger than mine, but I could barely put a DP Deluxe on while my Mystery fits me almost too big !!

You're lucky, you can get them to fit on your head... I've tried about six different helms and only one fit. But my nose was squished against the visor so bad that when I talked, I sounded funny! Not very intimidating for a mando...

when you dont have a voice changer its best to keep silent anyway...

Yeah, one key element about Boba, is he only speaks when necessary, most of the time he is dead silent.
