First of all your links are dead, but I would stay away from ebay for Fett props. The only reputable vendor on there is Man of War as far as I know.

As for making your own cardboard helmet, it can turn out very well or very poorly. It all depends on your prior artistic experience and how much time and care you are willing to put into the project. Here's the second helmet I built if you want to take a look. I was pretty happy with it.

Thanks very much :) let me know if you want any scratchbuilding advice.

By the way I host all my images on photobucket and copy the IMG links, works no problem.

I've heard of resin warping on a hot day. Is this something I should be worried about if I choose to go with a CC Resin Asok helmet?

Sorry for the thread hijack

that helmet is a recast of a recast if an asok helmet. If you need a cheaper helmet you can contact me, ill help you out.

Yup, it's going to be a disappointment so don't make the same mistake I made . If I'd of found TDH two weeks earlier it would have saved me $400. Thankfully I found it when I did!
Find out what size different makers run. I would recommend Animefan depending on your size. I'm 5'10" and it fits me well.

Really good stuff here and elsewhere on TDH. I was about to buy an eBay bucket the day a friend told me about you guys. I'll be reaching out for some details/pricing soon.

Thanks!
