Available details for the original "eyes" helmet by Joe Johnston?

Any other data available on the original "eyes" helmet that preceded the PP1 lid? Any other pictures or reference material at all? I would like to paint up a dentless lid one day, and really like the pic of it on the helmet history map. Looks much more intimidating compared to the actual Preproduction paint up. Would make a perfect collector lid.

So far we know only this image of the Pre-Pro #1 Eyes helmet:

The only visible differences between the v1 (eyes) and v2 (ears) suits are:
1 - The v1 doesn't have killstripes
2 - The v2 have new eyes/ears, and we can faintly see the original eyes
3 - The cape on the v1 was wrapped around the neck and closed/tied behind the neck, while the v2 had one end of the cape attached to the inner upper left corner of the jetpack and the other end was attached to a buckle placed on the right side of the collar.

Damn, thanks for that Raf! Too bad we don't have a view of the rear and sides. Guess this one is just chocked up to the "loss" column huh?

As RafalFett mentioned, the PP1 Eyes version was repainted into the Ears version. It's the same helmet.
Check in the gallery under "Boba Fett First Prototype." There aren't nearly as many reference shots as the
ESB or ROTJ, but there are a couple in there showing the sides and back.
Those are the pics I used to do my PP1 back in 2009/2010. The original thread is here:
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f23/superjedis-pre-pro-1-eyes-helmet-34993/

(Since that time, and after some discussion with some very knowledgeable people about how colors shift in old
photos, I have since repainted the dome and inner cheeks on the helmet using a more familiar, darker green.)

Thanks Eric, I spent some minutes today reviewing the PP1 and was pretty well deduced to that conclusion so that is cool hearing it from someone with more experience in this arena.
Not one to ever wear, but I'd prefer to do this as a starting point of a Fett collection. Now to find the ideal dentless helmet....

Bobamaker does a dentless helmet. Not sure what his wait time is like these days. I think Animefan
does one as well.
Or you could get a regular kit and fill the dent in yourself. I think it would take a good bit of work
to get everything smooth and even.
