    Oct 3, 2012, 7:53 PM - ASOK ESB Lid For TK231 Take 2 #1

Alright so I have been commissioned to paint up another ESB lid for TK231. This is a pint up of a ASOK cold cast that he recently purchased that already had the visor and right ear cap mounted. In all another great ASOK cast. My first step was to get the back panels painted always a tedious task that is why I choose to get them out of the way first. I will be working the rest of this week on getting the mandibles and trim done that way I can move onto the lower cheeks.

Alright got the mandibles and trim all taken care of and will be moving on to the upper and lower cheeks which I hope to have done by Wednesday. From there I will move onto the done and start work on the ears. With any luck since I will be gone most of next week on travel for work I should have the lid wrapped up by the first week of November.

As I'm just finishing up my lid, I have a renewed appreciation for the work here - awesome work indeed, Deadland. Looking forward to seeing more of its progress.

Well the last month and a half things have been real hectic at work and in between a ll the traveling I was doing I was still trying to crank this bad boy out for TK231. It seemed that every time I would start the next step in painting and then forget to take picture of what was done and I totally forgot!!! Needless to say this bad boy is done and I appreciate TK231 for being so patient with me while work had me running all over the place. Any way on to the pics and with TK231's approval it will get a final clear coat and then be shipped.
