AntMan's Second Cardboard Scratch Build

How ya goin Antman,
This is the best step by step tutorial I have seen on a cardboard helmet, I have just aquired a MR helmet, but I still want to have a go, this has inspired me again, just got to finish my jetpack first, keep up the good work. By the way I have already tried a cardboard helmet, and failed so this good tuition.
cheers

Like most people here, I just wanted to share my appreciation for Antman's awesome tutorial methods using cardboard that I've found greatly helpful with my own attempts. This guy is amazing!

I'll second that. I used this tutorial to build mine, practically step by step, following AntMans instructions and the WOF templates. This is an Awesome tutorial!!

I found the 2mm cardboard listed as "greyboard" at a specialist trade paper suppliers/ sign maker suppliers. It only cost £1 per sheet, (A0? 1M square+)

One and a half sheets are enough to build a helmet following this guide.

I'll add a link if anyone is interested.

This one of the most informative and inspiring threads on this site. The cardboard helmet looks fantastic. I'm hoping to finish my second attempt at one of these paper helmets eventually! Thanks for sharing your great work!!!

While his work still amaze people, sadly we don't know what happened to AntMan. His last activity was in December 2009...

ok, im having a hell of a time finding the matboard or paperboard he used, here in the US. Anyone have any ideas what the US calls this stuff? Ive checked out matboard but too think and does not have the same look to what he used. Anyone have any tips here?

edit**

I believe i found the cardboard hes using.. here in the US there is stuff called Chipboard. Looks almost identical to what he has in this post. im going to try and find some locally and verify if its the same stuff.
