After hammering out some issues plaguing my personal life, I finally got a chance to get started on the helmet. Following suit with TFs new Malone Fett ESB helmet, I really liked the base color he was using so I tried to emulate that. Not sure how well it matches, but I think I did OK.

I haven't airbrushed anything in about 2 years so I was a little rusty, but after nailing down the paint to thinner ratio everything was smooth sailing and I'm feeling pretty good about what I've got down so far.

update: the blue/gray mix just ended up drying straight gray... lol

Silver down. Can't wait to see the contrast with the new gray blue. The mixture actually looked a LITTLE as intended when I woke up this morning.

Thanks guys.

And yeah, I didn't think I was going to, but I figured I'd get it all out of the way in one go, then do all the individual sections later since the helmet had those the colors all over anyway.

That is really looking good CB....I need some templates printed out to start my FPH2. Really gets the bug lit up seeing these in process pics, and seeing that much damage done at once makes the lid look cooler overall lol.

I messed around with the custom mix for the concrete color and think I got it better than before.

I used the mix above 103+28, then eye balled and added 72 and 127. Pics will come after painting.
