    Airbrush color listing

Is here a list of the airbrush colors used for an ESB bucket? I see that AFFO$ posted a paint list but that seems to be for rattle cans and jar paints. The person that will be painting my bucket uses an airbrush. Is it possible to do the entire paint job by airbrush?

Hey Jc27, Here is a handy web page I found in my many, many searches with google!
Boba Fett Paint Colors - MindMeister Mind Map
This one covers the major paints for models and airbrushing! Airbrushing is definitely the way to go! Good luck with your paint up.... I look forward to seeing your thread!

    Re: Airbrush color listing

Gday bud - for ESB airbrush colour lists, Terminal Fettlers 'one last wafer thin...' sticky thread is excellent, and I also have a thread using many of the same colours Tf used with a few exceptions. We both predominantly used Humbrol enamels, with a couple exceptions, and the real helmet used Floquil enamels - and this list you will find on rafalfetts stencils, as well as some other places. Peace :-)

    Re: Airbrush color listing

I talked to my painter the other day and she asked if the helm should get a matte sealant because the air brush paints are water based. If the humbrol and floquil are enamel, would they still need the sealant?
She also mentioned a color chart that compares paint makers and colors so one could see how different colors from different makers compared to each other. Has anyone used one of these for painting their helm?

    Re: Airbrush color listing

I would put a matte sealant on it for sure. The paints i have are matt enamel humbrol and floquil..and i will still put a sealant on it. I use krylon matte finish( i get it from my job at a discount). I know others like testors dullcote as well. Most of the helmet painters suggest it not only for protection but also to help even out the color tones(along with a dark wash).
