Aerosol ESB colours?

Hi all, have tried the search funtion without a great deal of success.

firstly i am useless at using airbrushes (not a lot of experience), so i wondered if anyone had a list of aerosol colours that i can use for an ESB bucket? preferably availible in the UK.

Sorry to bring the goal posts so close together but i really need help.

Useless... nobodys useless... if you can spray out of a can you can spray out of an airbrush... the only additonal thing is you have to clean it... but that is easy cheesy... just use acetone from your local wallmart to clean it.

Nothing wrong wiht the rattle can but not cut your self short... if I can use an airbrush you can too!

I've got a few I can suggest. I'll post some names when I get home!

The base coat and the silver layer are pretty easy to find. Afettfullofdollars gets insanly perfect with his buckets with Wal-mart spray paint, I tried that and failed horribly.

I had to find a hobbie shop that sold floquil paints.

Ok, I've had a check and the colours I have used in the past are as follows:

Base coat silver - Humbrol 191 Chrome Silver (do not touch for at least a day and wear latex gloves to avoid fingerprints)

Dome and cheeks - I can't seem to find the HUmbrol paint I used on one of my helmets, it was a couple of years ago now. Try looking at the following link http://airfix.com/cs/resources/paints.aspx I thought that some of the colours on there may do.

For the upper cheeks I used Tamiya XF-11 JN Green or XF-27 Black Green

For mandibles I used some automotive paint I bought from Halfords. The only thing with automotive paints is that they are not acrylic and take longer to dry, and because they are designed for cars, they dry to to be tough, making weathering a bit harder. I would recommend spraying them from futher away than you would with acrylics.

I would seriously recommend trying airbrushing though. On my latest helmet I mixed my colours and I personally think it is the best option.
