96 Don Post conversion

Looking at Converting this broken 96 Don Post, when I got it it was craked in several places, it had a broken rage finder.

I started by cutting out the plastic in the visor area, glued the range finder, I also cut out the keyholes.

I also made the cover for the top of the rangefinder wich was missing.

Once I get it all sanded down completely I am going to put a metal band inside the helmet to give a better shape. maybe roto cast the inside

May I suggest 1 layer of fiberglass... thats how i did mines.

put some white primer on to see the imperfections, I need to do some more sanding before I put the chrome paint o.

Did some more sanding today, ill be spraying the chrome tomorrow

Can this helmet be converted to a Jango Fett?

finall got back to building, did some more sanding and priming.

Nice progress... What did you use to glue the cracked parts together?

I used a locktite glue, then put some resin on the inside
