$35 Boba Helmet (My practice piece) - PICS

Ebay... Search 'injection Jango' and a bunch should come up. I got it from a seller named cwgift. The visor is from rembrantenterprises (T-Visor.com) on ebay as well.

Yup... I was collecting the bounty on a ham sandwich at the time and figured "What the hey... I bet this would make for some nice masking fluid."... Because thats what everyone naturally thinks when eating ham sandwiches with mustard. ;)

But yeah, its just plain old mustard. Theres a bunch of threads on here where folks use it...

Yup... And everything is pretty much freehanded. I'm drawing rough outlines directly on the helmet with a pen, and then just going to town with the brush. So far it hasn't bitten me in the arse... Knock on wood. Its not the best, but it looks like Boba to me. :)

Eagle shaped scratch added... See second post...

Thats killer! You are an excellent painter. I wish someone would explain painting techniques better here. I got massively lucky with my jet pack.

Awwwwwww.... Shucks.... /blush

I'm using mostly 00 and 000 brushes. Its really slow going; grey on top of silver, silver on top of grey, etc. I just wish I had some stencils, I'm really starting to hate painting.

Go to the user list, and look up AFettFullOfDollars, thats who's posts I'm using as a guide (in addition to the reference CD).

I don't feel right trying to explain it, cuz I'm still a newb at this and I'd hate to be responsible for giving misinformation. I've made TONS of mistakes on this helmet.
