Yuma Photoshoot

Those are pretty cool pics! Love the one with the lonely little R2 trying to get back to Mos Eisley... erm.. the parking lot! :D That sand was really blowing.... yikes!

We had bandannas and motorcycle goggles to protect us from the sand. I seriously don't know how the people RV'ing there could stand outside in that blowing sand with no protection. We couldn't have possibly done a shoot with out that gear.

Sorry to hear about the busted camera and lost lens.

I can't speak for the others, but I'll gladly pitch in a little for replacements.

BTW, thanks for the link and update. I appreciate both!

Beautiful SHOTS!! I bet you guys a still finding sand "everywhere!"

The wind blow sand adds to the realism of the shot!

Keep up the great work!

I spent some time in Death Valley on camping trips and sand get into everything and everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE (Places you didn't even knew you had).

Thanks Ray, I appreciate that. We honestly had no clue that it would be like that out there. And we figured we could clean and blow out my camera and his lens with canned air and get them back to working...guess not  I still find sand here and there from that trip, it is really crazy. Never seen anyplace like that but it was totally worth the trip, absolutely beautiful...hence I couldn't resist taking my camera out to take pics out there.

sand is a camera's worst enemy! As bad or in some cases worse than water. It can fry the circuitry and get into all the moving parts and grind gears, scratch lenses, and attach itself to the CCD. Not fun. The pictures are awesome though. Can't wait to see more!

Cd's shipped out yesterday boys. Thanks for being patient. Life has been pretty crazy lately! Hope you all enjoy them as much as we enjoyed taking them!!!

thanks again guys!!! anytime you need a trooper or mando to kick around, you knwo which garrison to call. you need to defect from NCG and come to DSG. we've got better cookies! and more sand!

Sure!
