Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
Lets see pics of your favorite figures!
here is a couple of mine-
-Toy Fair Vader AFA 80 should have gotten higher but the bubble hole rubbed a little paint off the saber!!!:cry
I'm not the smartest guy in the world but how does an 85 80 90 = an 80? i always thought the figure and card were more important than the bubble? plus the bubble was fine.. it was the hole that was punched off center.
-Star Wars Reunion figure (Paris, France) put in a windowed wooden case. I didnt have it graded do to my disapointment with my Toy Fair Vader >:

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I got this Yoda new(when I was 14...I am 40 now) and saved him from being donated when my mother gave my SW figures and vehicles(I had ALL the Kenner figures and vehicles from ANH and ESB) to a church for the famlies that were needie.
I lost the "snake" many years ago.

Holy ****, I think I'd kill my mum if she gave away my collection.
I think my most prized figure is my 12" talking Darth Vader with removable helmet I got when I was 4, after first seeing the Star Wars trilogy for the 20th anniversary.( I'll post pictures when I find some batteries for my camera) I loooooved Darth Vader when I was little :love I've still got my Darth Vader lightsaber and the Special Edition VHS boxset of the original trilogy.

Yeah ,I went to sumer camp and when I came home I noticed my room was awful bare :(
After 20 years I still remind her of what she gave away ;) but then she reminds me of why she gave them away and what a blessing my sacrfice made
-
Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
At least you can blame your mom for giving away your starwars toys. In my case I gave mine away to my younger cousins when I lost interest in them. Now I'm 31 and I find myself buying the new ones, go figure (Ha! figure, I made a funny).

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I made my own 12" star wars figures but I sold them all so I can fund my Boba Fett project. Currently, I do not own any of the figures that I made, but I would've really liked to have at least one to keep. They were all one of a kind and that's what makes them special to me. Here are some pics:

Thanks! You have quite a collection there.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I'd have to say my most prized fig is my Blue snaggletooth. My brother got him for me at a garage sail with a bunch of other stuff for 50 cents!!!! My second favorite is also an original yoda that I've had since I was a kid. I lost almost all of my weapons from all my childhood figs, but for some reason i still have all of yoda's, right down to the orange snake. Latsly, I love my 300th Fett. managed to get one with the white panel on the box!! Will try to post pics tomorrow.

:suprise:drool
Those 1/6 figs are awesome! Is that Koto armor? I have a Bly I've considered molding off of, but some of the parts (like the left thigh and a few others) disappear under other parts.
Can't say I have a most prized figure, since all my stuff is just run of the mill figures that are easily found.

Thanks, and yes they are based on the Koto figures except for the Galactic Marine which I sculpted 2/3 of the armor.:)

Fortunately I still have all of my vintage figs from the 70's and early 80's, but I buy a lot of the new stuff too. Maybe one of these days I'll get the whole collection out of storage and take some pics.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
My most prized are my set of vintage figures- the original collection from my childhood that I started in '78 with the early bird set (incl. telescoping saber Luke!) all the way through Droids/Ewoks in the 80s. The set is loose of course, but includes all the figures that I actually played with, making each one a one-of-a-kind!.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I still have my figures from when I was a kid (I'm 39), and the cardboard box I carried them in. My most prized, my very first, a Stormtrooper.
-
Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I will have to take some pictures when I go to my cousin's next time. We both grew up loving and collecting Star wars..I have all the originals, some in the package, most out but mint. My cousin on the other hand had every figure like myself, but my uncle would also buy him one figure to keep in the package..he was way before his time. So my cousin has basically every single figure in the package..he may be missing some duplicates from the Power of the Force, but he has all the 8 backs..and multiple of alot. He also has about 15 stormtroopers in the packages from all three movies. It is quite a collection, anyway..I will snap some pics next time I am over there.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
A very impressive collection there sixxgunn13! I wish I still have my original Kenner Land Speeder with Lando, X-Wing Pilot Luke, Death Star Droid, R5-D4, Hammerhead and Power Droid that clicks when you move the legs. We left them in the Philippines when we moved to Chicago when I was 12 yrs. old.:(

You're a Most Prized Star Wars figure
While I have several little guys on the shelf that I have drawn inspiration from, I am most honoured by Imperial Knight Ganner Krieg;

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I think if my boyfriend say this thread, he'd have a seizure and cry. His mother bought all the old figures and vehicles as "an investment" and hid them away in the attic / shed. Every holiday he could go get one...
but many days he'd just sit among the boxes and such. They had so much stuff. lol Even a speeder bike swing. However, the time came eventually for her to attempt to sell them... and being kind of a moron, she took them all to a fleamarket consignment, where they told her "we cant get much for these" and ripped her off lol
Chad went back to the fleamarket a few times to look at his toys on sale lol poor fella. I think thats what has lead to his compulsive figure buying to this day
As for our prized figures... not sure what he would consider. He has a few things. The Vader Mickey that production was stopped on "cause Mickey cant be that evil" most of the mcq figs, and the old mcq stormie. bunch of stuff he probably cant even remember he has.
I dont have anything that rare really myself. I still have most of my old star wars toys, all the guns lost though. I finally tossed my broken x-wing :( lol. I have a lot of the die-cast metal ships in decent condition.
My best figure though has gotta be my Rose Parade 501st figure with George's 501st honorary card in it. :)

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?

After much consideration, I do believe this is my favorite.
I know it's only 80 NM, but it was mine before it was frozen in carboni...err.. acrylic. I personally sent him in to be graded. I did not buy it already graded.
-
Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
very nice!! I was so happy when the AFA started grading loose figures. I want to send my perky Padme in so bad but after my Toy Fair Vader got an 80, I just cant bring my self to send her in... :(

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
here are some of my favorites. Some figures and more. The majority of my stuff is mint in box with inserts. I have carded fugures, boxed toys, rare items and what some call the holy grail of collectables. A gols vader case. I understand there are only about 100 made and a few that people know of today.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
The only figure I still own is the ep2 yoda with light saber my friend BanyJ *The co creator of Stikfas* sent me from Singapore, and oddly enough it is a repackages Hasbro yoda with stickers by a toy company called "TOMY"
-
Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I still have the very first Star Wars figure I was ever given...a good old 1977 "saber-in-the-arm Darth Vader. I got him for Xmas and he is the only surviving figure left from my youth. It's a miracle he's still in one piece and pretty much free of defects. I'll try to get a pic of the old boy posted sometime this week.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
No pic, but it's actually my Christmas Boba and HIC sculpture that I got from Lucksy31 last year. I've gotten a bunch of fig's since... but I think this one will always be my favorite.

Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
favorite one, mine would probably be my ArtFX SE Boba
-
Re: Your Most Prized Star Wars figure?
I too have the original Fett toy, but my FAVORITE toy has to be my suit. I mean come on, a full size Boba suit that I can WEAR and look just like the movies, or put on a mannequin and have it look like Fett is standing in the room with me! Hands down my favorite.

I would have to say my POTF Boba Fett. It was my very first Fett figure and as such will always hold a special place in my heart. It's also probably the reason I love the ROTJ color scheme. :lol
