I guess I'll get things started. Remember, the big day is in two weeks and there are plenty of opertunities for going out in costume in between
This is something I am really proud of because it is the first group costume I have ever done. Still a few touch ups and details left, but after 5 months of work and God know's what in cash, I present to you the Rocket City Ghostbusters!:
And I've already started on the suits for dragoncon and halloween 2010
Definitely alot of things to do until then...

I'm doing Bank Heist Joker this year :
Went to my first party last night actualy, I also had some new scar transfers I got to try out. But I nearly ran out of time, and with only 15 mins. left to leave, I had to apply my red and black. So I'm very disapointed with the black around my eyes. Oh well...There's always next time. :p

The past couple of years, I've helped pass out candy at my Grandma's.
This year I'll be going as the Cobra Baroness. We just finished the costume this past weekend.
Andy'll be decked out as Iron Man.
Putting the finishing touches on right now.

Mine isn't as cool as you guys but I wanted to do something non SW's for this Halloween. I found good deals on all this stuff. I'm a big military buff too so this worked out!

As you can tell, we danced thriller.
Made this for my son Carson..... Eyes glow bright orange and you cannot see anything besides black space and the glowing eyes behind the hood.
As for me, this is my first attempt at a Fett costume using sintra (it's taken 6 months). I know the armor is not painted like the movie, but I was going for a dirtier look and it's my first time. It'll look better when I finally finish (whatever year that is).

This will be my first time as Fett. It's not completely accurate but I scratch built it in about six weeks.
I took just a simply child's mask (the kind with the plastic kind with an elastic string) and painted black. Then install a couple of orange lights that look like Jawa eyes (not LEDs) and glue them to the mask, run the wire to a 9V battery is my son's pocket, and finally pull a black hood over his head where the front panel is a sherr material that he can see through anyway. That pretty much blacks out his face but does not impact the lights. I'll post a picture of the set-up if you still want.

Going with a new costume for Halloween this year.

I helped a dude I know get a costume and war paint ready in two days, so last night I sat down with him for 4 hours and helped him get a feel for a realy basic make-up job. I did mine as we went so he could see me do it. So after 4 hours of make-up application, dressing him, doing his hair, and then riding hanging outside of the widow going 40 MPH white it rained, your left with this mess.
(But I'm not even gonna say what that right scar look like!

Yesterday, I dressed for the day in anticipation of the arrival of spirits.
Last night, I was asked to preside as Priest in ceremony for Samhain.
I took a handful of tyme exposures after the gathering. It is so nice to wake with smoke in your hair and clothes.

I didn´t put on my Fett for Halloween, but my son got his costume on for the first time, and celebrated Halloween for the first time in his life. The robes are still a bit big, but you should have seen him walking around. He was bobbing back and forth in true Jawa style!!
Still a little way to go on the costume, but it´s well on its way!

My Fett costume has always just been on a mannequin for the entire time I have had it. Never worn it.

We all were suited up from 2pm til 8pm....6 hours straight of costumed fun! If this wasn't the best Halloween we've ever had, it's right up there...

Barely finished the kids costume the day of Halloween. They really liked them, and they split the award for best costume.
