X-Wing Pilot Helmet

Can anyone help me find some resources on scratch building an X-Wing Pilot's helmet? This year for halloween I have a gig playing drums so my first choice (Rorschach) wouldn't work. Looking to do Luke or maybe Biggs, tht way I can play drums in the suit and keep eye contact with the band.

Not sure about scratchbuilding, but I think BobbyFettUK is working on an X-Wing helmet project.
Don't know how far along he is. Might be worth checking with him.

I have the APH helmet, but have been putting all my free time into finishing pack orders and then I need to get my Fett rebirth done, so it is on the back burner for now.......ASOK is working on an X Wing project too.

What if I can't find a Vietnam-era helmet? I live in Canada and we have next to no American Army Surplus stuff here. Just lots of old Canadian uniforms and boots. I might have to find a big round sphere of some type I guess...
